This place was freezing cold. I ordered right away, hoping that the food would warm me up. I don't like sitting in a restaraunt in my jacket. This place only has 25 seats. It can't cost that much to heat. I had 2 eggs over easy and sausage, with pancakes and greek toast. The sausage was burnt and the hash browns tasted like they were hanging around for a while. The pancakes were a little rubbery. The eggs were not fresh. The only reason I come to these places, is so I can Yelp um. I'll stick to my regulars.

I ate here quite a few times. There is not much else in the area. The last time I was there they messed up my omlette 3 times. Two omlettes and 1 coffee and 1 coke 23.00 dollars I thaught was pretty steap. Plus after all the mess ups I didnt even get a discount on the bill. Will be a long time before I go back there..

Very Good food. Fries are delicious with the sandwiches The breakfast specials are excellent... especially the skillets are very tasty. Service is excellent. I like to go there before work because I can get a big breakfast and be in and out of there within 20 minutes. On Mondays they have 2 eggs, hash browns, toast and coffee for under $5. If your in the area of Willow Springs on Archer road between the expressway and Nolton ave. stop in...its worth it.

Amazing chicken and dumpling soup. I also had the french toast which was delightful. Service was excellent. It's a cute restaurant in Willow.

I made the choice to stop here and try. It was ok. I had the omelet and based on others restaurants I have gone to this was on the small size. It was not bad the eggs were not to fresh. My friend was not overly happy with his food. Service was ok getting our first drinks water and juice seemed to take awhile. They do have quite a few items on the menu but I'll take a pass.

To use an old, overused cliche (really?), look up "diner" in the dictionary, and you'll find a photo of this place. It's cute, clean, inexpensive and truly good home-cooked meals. (Best homemade chicken soup ever!) The place is off the beaten path a little east of the closest thing to a downtown (using the term loosely) that Willow Springs has. We happened upon it unexpectedly and were pleasantly surprised. Limited menu of mostly breakfast items and some sandwiches and salads; but my chicken breast "dieters" plate was generous and tasty, and my friend's BLT was one of the best she'd had. A sweet family owns/runs the place (Dad in the kitchen made that chicken soup), and service is top notch. Try it!

One of a few places in the area for after a jaunt in one of the many Cook County Forest Preserve areas nearby. They accommodated a large group, pushing several tables together. Service was sort of bizarre but fine. They took orders randomly, and half the table got its food before the other half had even ordered because the one server was taking orders and bringing the food as soon as it was ready. This led to a bit of annoyance and a disjointed meal. Still, the food obviously came quickly, and was solid diner food. People liked the omelets and pancakes. The patty melt was very good, although the rye bread didn't have much rye flavor. The French onion soup also lacked flavor, but wasn't unpleasant. The fries were average medium thickness diner fries, but we're nice and crispy. They also gave us each a separate check, which was very much appreciated. $10 minimum for credit cards. Small. It adequate parking lot outside.

I like how other people refer to this establishment as "good enough" because that's exactly what it is. We came here a couple years ago and were put off by the burnt, salty, tasteless food we received. We recently heard that it's been taken over by new people so we tried it again. It was definitely an improvement over last time, but nothing spectacular. We came here this morning because it's about three blocks from where we live. We were the only people there. That seemed odd, but it is a weekday so there's that. The food was much better than last time. We ordered a couple of skillet breakfasts. The eggs were prepared well, and to our requests. The hash browns were cooked evenly and not burnt, and overall the taste was good. Nothing really stood out as exceptional, tho. The service was fine, without being remarkable. The diner itself seems outdated, but cleaner than last time; just could use some updating. We will probably go back if we don't feel like driving out to Willowbrook or Countryside, but wouldn't really make a great effort to eat here again.
